Our classes are aimed at beginners or those returning to exercise. The goal is to prepare everyone to complete a 5k within 6 weeks. The course consists of 12 sessions over the 6 weeks.

If you are able to walk 20 minutes without difficulty, then you are well able to join. 

Sessions are conducted in loops so no one will get left behind. They are a mixture of jogging and walking (recovery breaks) between reps. 

You can go at your own pace. This is very important as everyone will have different fitness levels and abilities. Our aim is for everyone to enjoy the sessions whilst getting fitter !

Participants will gradually increase distance and overall fitness over the 6 weeks. All classes will be conducted in a fun atmosphere and feel free to ask questions before, during or after regarding your training, goals etc.

Everyone that completes the 5k will receive a finisher's medal. 

All classes will start at 7pm sharply so we get the full hour in.

Griffeen Valley Park is the location for the course. Classes will be floodlit during winter months.

There is ample parking outside the park or in the adjacent housing estates. Please do not obstruct any resident's entrances.
